IDParts invests heavily in making sure that our catalog lists every part correctly according to year, make and model. Most often a VIN number is required by other sites because of variations in engines, transmissions etc. Because we only offer parts for diesel powered vehicles a VIN is usually not required.
Some products, however, may vary in fitment depending on vehicle options or build date. These products will note in the description that a VIN is required to purchase. Orders placed without a VIN will be held until a VIN is submitted.
There are two ways to submit your VIN:
The best way is to add your vehicle to your garage and save the VIN number in your garage. This way the VIN is always available to our experts if we ever need to reference it to check equipment or fitment of a replacement part.
When placing your order you can add the VIN to the "Order Comments" section at the bottom of the Shipping or Payment pages.
